Pals

Here's a couple pics of Cooper and Callie. We've been having a tough time with Callie lately. She apparently has allergies-to what I don't know-so we've had to start giving her antihistamines every day. She's also had to take other meds for various infections-ear, fungal, yeast. I felt like the worst mommy in the world after we left the vet's office a few weeks ago! She is soooo much better now, still taking the meds, but acting like the 'old' Callie! I love her so!

Playtime at Mickey-D's

Last Saturday, we diverted from our usual lunchtime routine(Chik-Fil-A!), and went to Ronald's place. Cooper had a blast, of course. He could have fun doing just about anything, though! He had a "nutritious" lunch of hamburger and apple dippers. The kid doesn't eat fries! (or mac-n-cheese for that matter, a child of mine doesn't like cheese? go figure!) It was a fun time!

"Hot Coffee"

I have no idea where he came up with "hot coffee", but it's Cooper's new favorite bathtime game!

Valentine's day has double duty in our family because it is also Nana's (John's mom, Judy) birthday. This V-Day/B-Day, Nana had all 4 cousins- John's sister Leslie & her husband Eric came in from MO along with threir boys, Matthew & Eli- & Nana also had John's sister Lisa's 2 kids, Jessie and Ryan. All the kiddos came to our house, and much fun ensued!!! Lound n crazy is how we like it! Of course, I failed to get a picture of all the kids WITH Nana! Where was my brain? Oh yeah, it was fried 'cause John and I decided to do our taxes that day....how romantic!
My mom came up the next day for an impromtu afternoon visit...did I get a pic of Grandma and Cooper? Why, No! oh well, there's always next time. Thank goodness taxes are done! Maybe my brain will recover!

Biker Boys

Saturday my husband decided to take Cooper around the block on our neighbor's dirtbike. Now, I am not a fan of motorcycles of any kind (too many years working in the ER!), especially ones on which my 2 yr old is riding, but he was already halfway around the block before I even knew what was happening! He loved it! "Go fast as you can, Daddy" TOO CUTE! How could I protest? He was wearing a helmet!

A short visit

My sister and (some) of her family stayed the night with us last Thursday. It was great to see them since I haven't been home since Christmas! (I know, I know!) Anyway, Sarah, Shan(my brother-in-law), Nate(my nephew), and Susan(Sarah's friend/babysitter/"go-to-girl") all stayed with us. They were picking up my other nephew Alec, and my niece Lindsey the next day, then driving to Tulsa to catch a plane to Salt Lake City, UT. Skiing in Park City for the next 5 days! How fun! Anyway, Cooper and Nate were crazy as ever! Nate not as much as usual since he didn't feel all that great (mean ol stomach bug..it's everywhere!), Cooper more than usual since he had to show out for his new "girlfriend" Miss Susan!

First Day of Spring?

One doesn't expect the first day of February to feel like the first day of spring, but that's just how it felt Feb 1,2009! Yea! I am so not complaining! John, Cooper, Callie, and I headed to Well's Lake for a day of fun in the sunshine! We had planned on doing some fishing, but Cooper didn't want to "shish" (we are working on our "f" sound!), he just wanted to throw rocks in the water. Again, not complaining, who doesn't love throwing rocks! ;) We had a great day. We walked around the lake, saw several dogs, a turtle, and lots of people trying to catch "the big one". We also found a big dirt pile..score! Boys n dirt- like moths to a flame!

Where's all the fish? I see a fish, Daddy! I'll get it with my rock!
