Party Time

June was such a whirlwind for us (hence the late-as usual-posts!) We had VBS the first week, Cooper turned 3, we had his party the Sat. after VBS, parents program on Sunday, then pictures the following Thurs!! Then, throw in 3 more birthday parties! Wheww! We had the last week of June to kinda wind down, now the Fourth of July is upon us! Where is the time going?

We had Cooper's birthday party at the Discovery Outback. All the kids seemed to have great fun. Half of them had already been to a birthday party earlier in the day for one of Cooper's classmates, so they were running on fumes! Good thing there was no shortage of sugar to keep them going! teehee! Cooper's cousins Anthony, Caroline, and Nate got to spend the afternoon with us too as an added bonus for the day! Grandma was there to help me out, thank goodness! John got to come to the party for about an hour, he had been working nonstop since the storm that blew through 2 nights before! Poor Daddy! But.. he did get to see the birthday boy blow out his candles and open his presents! It was a great day!

Little Monkey!

Cooper's cousin Nate stayed with us this Memorial Day weekend since his mommy and daddy were hard at work in NLR getting their new house all unpacked! We had a great weekend! We got to visit Papa Dussex and Grandma in Conway when we went to pick Nate up, we went to the Old Fort Days Rodeo Parade, and just had lots of fun playing around at home! It is so fun seeing those two together! Lord help us when they get a bit older! LOL
